Testtool Review is the new international platform on software testing tools

Moehrendorf, 11 July 2013 – The supply of tools for automated software testing is today more versatile than ever. So how to stay on top of things? On the new online portal Testtool Review you can clearly compare tools with just a few clicks. The platform was developed by imbus AG.

„With testtoolreview.com we have created a focal point on the net for everyone who wants to catch up on the international market of software testing tools“, explains Tilo Linz, chairman at imbus. The portal provides the most important facts about common and current tools. Commercial tools as well as open source ones are listed. The site is a valuable assistance especially for project and test mangers, testers and developers when they want to find suitable tool support.

From test automation, test management and defect- and change management, via test specification, load- and performance test, continuous integration through to code- and coverage analysis: Tool categories help the users to find out of a range of almost 150 tools directly those that were particularly designed for the required field of application.

The topicality of the tool data of many listed tools is ensured straightly by the manufacturers or distribution companies: This way, you’ll always read the latest state at Testtool Review – even if products get refined.

And there is even more you can do at Testtool Review: Registered users can swap ideas with other users online and discuss tools and usage experiences. They have the possibility to ask questions, get responses from the community and of course to provide themselves responses and tips, too. In addition to that, they can enrich their own profile data with more information presenting their specific tool expertise for example and thus commend themselves as test experts. All functions on the site are completely free of charge – for users, tool manufacturers and distribution companies.

The contents on Testtool Review are available in English and German.

And if you are interested in glancing at the current tool landscape even more intensely: This year’s Software-QS-Tag conference in autumn turns on tools for software-QA and -test just as well. Learn more about it right here in just a few days.
