Software-QS-Tag highlights the potential of current test tools

Moehrendorf, 19 July 2013 – What are current tools capable of? The supply of tools for software quality assurance and testing is today more versatile than ever. The 21st Software-QS-Tag surveys the current tool landscape. The international conference takes place on 7 and 8 November in Nuremberg.

Whether for agile or structural testing, white box testing, test management or test automation: Modern tools are highly specific. Each of them is intended for different quality aspects and different points in time within the software lifecycle. So how can you be sure to exhaust all possibilities offered by tools today?
This year’s Software-QS-Tag by imbus helps orientating in the latest tool market. Under the motto „Tools for software-QA and -test“ more than 40 known tool and testing experts from industry and economy showcase the actual state of affairs.

The speakers present best practices in technical lectures: from choosing and assessing suitable tools, via launching them correctly through to their successful use in projects. In tutorials and workshops the participants have the opportunity to try out the ruses by means of tool examples. Product presentations, a technical exhibition and a joint event dinner in the midst of the underwater world of Nuremberg’s zoological garden complete the programme.

In its more than 20 years history the Software-QS-Tag has established itself as leading conference for software quality assurance and testing on a high technical level. Every time with a new challenging key issue running like a golden thread through all slots of the conference. In a relaxed and collegial atmosphere the Software-QS-Tag provides space for speakers, tutorial and workshop instructors, exhibitors and participants to swap ideas and do networking. At the conference, IT managers, software development managers and project managers benefit from multifarious examples how processes and practices can be improved. Test managers, test coordinators and test leaders learn how they can control and implement current projects in a more efficient way. And software testers, test specialists and software engineers get to know techniques and tools that are helpful for their everyday professional practice.
